#240 - FALL LEAVES QUILT - Longarm Louise

The Fall Leaves Quilt is a favorite right now. It’s easy to see why.

The fabric line by Corey Yoder is called Cozy Up and is perfect for these leaf blocks.

The E2E pattern called Cable Knit is by Longarm League Jess Ziegler. Good thing my quilting was mostly straight as it would have been very obvious with the quilting pattern being very straight.

I like the spaces between the quilting. The varied spacing between the design is poofed with the batting layer. It makes the quilting pop. I wish I would have remembered to use wool batting to increase the pop.

I chose to load the quilt legethwise on the longarm so the quilting and leaves would both run vertically.

Each leaf block is 10″ x 12″ and creates a good lap sized quilt. The pattern directions were clear and easy to follow. You should add this pattern by Cluck Cluck Sew to your cart. I could definitely see myself making this pattern again.

This quilt has already seen a lot of action on our couch. I may have even taken a nap with it yesterday. If I get a chance, I’ll get a full photo later. But for now, this will do.
